We welcome you to experience the golden view of the Perth Hills sunsets in Mundaring. Join us in the late afternoon to see the days turn to dusk, and enjoy a beautiful evening hike with us.
Your tour begins with a hike along a small section of the iconic Bibbulmun Track, across Mundaring Weir to the Golden View lookout. Be immersed in Beelu National Park bushland, and discover the intricacies of a project so ambitious it threatened to change the course of Australian history, which was lead at its heart by a visionary premier, and an engineering genius. We highlight the longest manmade freshwater pipeline, the protection of our endangered cockatoos through artwork, and the creation of ‘rivers in the desert’.
Once the sun sets on the Perth Hills skyline, enjoy a dusk return hike, where the same trail revisited in reverse can look magically unique as the nocturnal animals begin to awaken.
